IPO

Lenovo’s Hong Kong stock exchange IPO is on hold after the company pulled out on October 10. The company said in a statement that the lapse occurred due to a lapse in financial information included in the prospectus. However, Lenovo has said its group operations are still healthy and that the withdrawal will not affect its financial positions.

Lenovo is a global company with operations in more than 160 countries. It’s a major player in smartphones and tablets and has been growing rapidly. Legend Holdings has sold a stake in Lenovo to a private investment group. The Chinese academy is the largest shareholder of Legend Holdings and plans to reduce its stake in Lenovo to bring it closer to the private sector. The academy wants its subsidiaries to have more market experience.
